Pathway to Curtin postgraduate courses in occupational health and safety
Important information for applicants
Applicants with an undergraduate degree and at least two years' work experience can apply to
study Curtin's postgraduate Diploma or Master in OHS.
Applicants
with a diploma or other qualifications in a field such as science, health science,
occupational health and safety, or engineering, which is recognised by Curtin as Australian
equivalent, with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience, will be considered on a
case-to-case basis to the Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety Management.
The postgraduate courses are arranged in a building block pattern as shown above, allowing students to transfer their grades and credits to the next level.
^ Applicants with a Graduate Certificate in Workplace, Safety & Health (WSH) will be awarded 25 credits as Recognised Prior Learning.
* Applicants with a Diploma or other qualifications in an appropriate field, such as science, health science, occupational health and safety, and engineering, which is recognised by Curtin as Australian equivalent with a minimum of five years of relevant work experience at a senior level in a large organisation, will be considered on a case-to-case basis.
