Medical insurance

Under the new Edutrust regulation, it is compulsory for all students to purchase medical insurance which is valid through their course of studies at Curtin Singapore.

Unlike local students (Singaporean Citizens, Permanent Residents and non-student's pass international students) International students may not opt out of this scheme.

Local students may choose to opt out of the compulsory medical insurance scheme if they have existing medical insurance coverage in Singapore.

Students will be required to sign a Letter of Undertaking confirming their request to opt out. Otherwise, Curtin Singapore will purchase the medical insurance on your behalf at a fee of S$64.20 per year (inclusive of GST) which will be paid by you.
